Description:   Terracotta solid mouldmade female figurine wearing a polos with slightly flaring rim. Hair falls to shoulders. Oblong face, close set eyes, long nose, thin lips, long chin. Back roughly smoothed. Similar to MF-1049, and the Kore with Polos and Veil Type MF-1866 and MF-4224 (Corinth XII, p. 43 no. 239-240 pl. 20).
Decoration:   White slip on face, polos and back of head . Red paint on hair and polos. Gray paint on face.

Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few medium to large tabular rounded white, frequent small tabular rounded black, and rare fine sparkling inclusions
Munsell Color:   Surface: 5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow) Core: 5YR 5/6 (yellowish red) Paint: 10R 4/6 (red) and 2.5YR 7/1 (light reddish gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving polos to neck. Worn and pitted surface. Traces of white slip throughout with red and blue paint preserved.
