Description:   Portrait mounted on a herm W00.029, Depth00.25 m. H01.305 m. Face slightly over life-size, thick hair arrenged in curling locks, forming a clump over center of forehead, finer fringe to sides. Broad forehead with lin, large deep-set eyes, incised pupil and iris, narrow drill channel outlining upper lid, puffy lower lid. Flat cheeks. Moustache framing mouth with deep pockets at corners, curly beard. Cuttings in sides of her for "arms" 0.06 x 0.12 x 0.04 m. deep, sides cut with long oblique strokes of point, back rough-picked. Genitalia, above which inscription. Rasp on bust. Fine toothed chisel on sides of pillar.
Writing:   graffito. 3-line Greek inscription on face of pillar:HRWDHS / ENUQADE / PERIEPATEI Letter H00.020
Material:   Fine white marble.
Condition:   Complete profile. Probably complete, two joining frgts. Right side of head considerably worn; missing nose, part of moustache and upper lip, helip of lt. ear, penis. Chip in lt. eye.
