Description: | Marble head, similar to S-1851. Proper right eye (0.04 x 0.015). Unfinished locks beside eye. Head worked smooth at top, with regular, small pick marks and central hole for dowel to anchor join (0.02 x 0.01). | |
Decoration: | Face with wavy locks and deep curls. Classicizing locks over forehead; curls with drilled center at proper left side of face (0.005 diam.). | |
Material: | White marble. | |
Condition: | Fragment. With S-1851, preserving locks of hair and part of neck. Two pieces (with S-1887). Broken all around except for some locks of hair and at neck. | |
