Description:   Loricata of Roman emperor, over life-size (Hadrian). Scene at bottom of breast plate flanked by rosettes. Scene shows two infants suckling at she-wolf while resting atop acanthus leaf. Below, one lappet to figure's right features griffin facing away from center. Lappet to left features eagle facing into center. Lappets and edge of cuirasse marked out with bead pattern.
Material:   White marble.
Condition:   Fragment. Preserving rim and portions of adjoining lappets; broken above bottom, central motifs of acanthus leaf and two infants suckling she-wolf. Wolf broken away at surface. Lappet with griffin reattached.
