Description:   Frieze block, with finely finished rt. joint, surface of which trimmed with claw (?) chisel. Relief field cut in from joint 0.008 m. at bottom break, 0.024 m. at top; Max. projection of relief 0.034 m. Front face of slab concave, right edge worked with pick. Front face decorated in low relief with helmet. Helmet round, contracting at lower neck piece. At top have crest consisting of at least nine tall tufts, articulated by shallowly incised lines, surface of tufts ca. flat; rises from flat band with groove down central axis. At right end of band a separate plume, consisting of three strands, falls down behind helmet in S-curve.
Material:   Fine-crystalled white marble
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving right edge, broken below, above, to left and possibly in back.
