Description:   Class B I (Glazed, partially coated ware) according to Blegen (Zygouries); Larger specimen of Z54 (Large jar), largely restored in plaster but enough fo the pot was found to give the complete profile from the flat base to the rim. The clay is not baked to a great hardness. This jar is taller in proportion to its diameter than Z54; it differs from the latter also in its neck which splays slightly outward; and in place of the small upper handles it has high up on the shoulder two long narrrow horizontal lugs, doubly pierced. Decoration:   The upper part of the surface is coated with a wash of thin light-brown glaze. (Blegen, Zygouries, pg 85-86)
