Description:   Coarse ware (Blegen's Class E, no 6). Flat base of uncertain storage vessel.
Decoration:   Mat-impressed base of probable split twines weave (Carington Smith 1977, in Keos I, pp. 119–120, 124, pl. 46.g). Similar to Coleman 1977, Keos I, pl. 91.c.
Material:   Gray to reddish brown coarse clay with common medium round white inclusions and rare medium voids.
Munsell Color:   Exterior and core: 10YR 5/1 (gray); interior: 5YR 5/4 (reddish brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving ca. 1/4 of base and part of lower body.
