Description:   Askos, Lerna type 3 (Wiencke 2000, Lerna IV.2, p. 530, fig. II.72). Similar to P567 in Wiencke 2000, Lerna IV.2, pp. 401–402, fig. II.30.
Decoration:   Light-Painted Fine Pollished (Blegen's Class A, no. 2 "Yellow Mottled): monocrome interior, mottled exterior in blue-gray, yellow, and red, similar to Z-860 (Blegen 1928, Zygouries, pp. 78–79, pl. IX.2). Single horizontal row of short slanting incized gashes just below rim, similar to P1064 in Wiencke 2000, Lerna IV.2, pp. 478, 480, fig. II.63.
Material:   Very fine red clay without inclusions or voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5YR 8/3 (pale brown), 5YR 6/1 (gray), 2.5YR 6/2 (pale red); outer core: 10R 5/6 (red); inner core: 2.5Y 5/1 (gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving ca. 1/3 of rim and part of neck.
