Description:   Basin, Wiencke type 1 (Wiencke 2000, Lerna 4, pp. 538–539) with Wiencke type e thickened rim (Wiencke 2000, Lerna 4, p. 540). Similar to P67 in Wiencke 2000, Lerna 4, pp. 338–337, fig. II.5.
Decoration:   Dark-on-Light Pattern Painted (Blegen's Ware C, class 1): dark brown festoon pattern on hanging from int. and ext. rim on pale brown field, reminiscent of later MH II festoon motif (Furumark 1941, Mycenaean Pottery, pp. 47, 227); dark brown wavy band on top of rim.
Material:   Medium fine very pale brown clay with common fine round black inclusions and very rare medium angular white inclusions and rare very fine voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface and core: 10YR 7/4 (very pale brown); decoration: 10YR 4/3 (dark graying brown)
