The youthful warrior stands to right, holding a phiale in his outstretched right hand. Preserved are his head protected by a Chalcidian helmet with the cheekpieces turned up, part of his shoulders with a cloak, and his right forearm and hand. In his left hand, now missing, he held a spear (its shaft extends through the ornament above). A snake decorates the cheekpiece of the helmet.
