Ancient crack mended by two dowels before block was in position. ; From a building or monument about 6.00m. in diameter.; The block has dentils at the bottom, then a coarsely cut bead and reel; at the ends the bead and reel molding is not cut out of the projecting half round. Overhanging soffit, above which a band of scrolls and flowers, the latter all different. At the top a sima, with acanthus leaves and lion's heads without spouts. On the top is a narrow gutter at the front; two dowel holes at each end.; Quite coarse workmanship; fairly good anathyrosis on ends.; b) A second piece of the same cornice of circular building, except for minor chips, intact. Lion's heads pierced; two clamp cuttings at each end, dowel hole in center.; c) Right side broken away, and carving on front badly chipped.
