At the base of the neck, a roughly picked tongue indicates that the head was inserted into a separate body.; Head, larger than life-size, perhaps of Trajan or a priest. The man has a tremendously long neck and is without beard. His hair is short and tied down by a wreath held by a bow at the neck. A deep horizontal groove across his forehead.
