[Corinth Monument] West Shops

The West Shops define the west end of the Roman forum. Twelve Shops, six either side of a broad staircase ascending to the entrance of Temple E’s precinct, had vaulted chambers parts of which still survive ... dates either to A.D. 364-75 ... Valentinan I or Valentinian II.
