Heavy flaring ring foot, steep nearly vertical walls; rim flanged outside; strap handles with ribbon ends. Good glaze on interior, rim and handles; also on foot and for band around wall; band, circle and central circle and dot beneath.
Similar banded undersides are common in late archaic black; see, e.g. the Attic-type skyphoi, 338-340, Pl. 16, or the cup-skyphos, 577, Pl. 25.
