Half of top preserved, with lower part missing.

Slightly domed lid offset from flange. Two grooves at center.

Vertical wall. On flange, alternating pointed and rounded lotus petals. Rounded petals have double ribs accented with white dots; pointed petals done in white paint. On dome, olive garland with white fillet and rows of white dots as accents surrounds pseudo bead and reel with white reel. Very micaceous, reddish yellow fabric (5YR 7/6); dull red glaze with black patches, metallic brown inside.

Painted lotus pattern similar to that of Attic lids of Large Leaf Group (e.g. 1277) and late Hellenistic moldmade bowls of lotus-corolla type (e.g. P 3211 [Agora XXII, no. 360, p. 87, pls. 64, 96]).
