Description: | Side and handle of small bowl with offset rim. Brown on buff. ADDENDA 2018: Two joining sherds to a shallow angular bowl with a flaring rim and a single preserved, horizontal strap handle. The exterior decoration consists of a very narrow lip band, which also covers the top of the strap handle. The interior decoration consists of a narrow lip band with a second narrow band running just below. There are another two narrow bands running below the carination of the bowl. The paint is thick, evenly applied, and fired brown, but badly flaking. There are no traces of use-wear or burning. Furumark Shape: 295 | |
