Description: | Fragment from squat jar with flaring rim, two or three handles on shoulder. Red flakey paint on yellowish buff ground. ADDENDA 2018: Single sherd to a small closed shape with no preserved features. The exterior decoration consists of a medium band at the junction of the neck/rim and shoulder and two medium bands running below the shoulder zone. In the shoulder zone there is inverted v-pattern. The paint is thick, evenly applied, and fired brown. There are no traces of use-wear or burning. Furumark Motif 1: 59 | |
