Description: | Mended from 12 fragments; restored in plaster. The medallion preserved complete; about one-quarter of the rim and fragments from the wall missing. Medallion scene depicts youth with jumping halteres. Relief contours, save for the feet and the reserved hairline. Eye drawn full face, very slightly open at the inner angle; the large iris set well back. The fingers not differentiated. No interior drawing. Fine black glaze inside and out. Reserved: handle zone and inside of handles, outside of foot and resting surface, also the top of the stem, beneath. A thickened ring at the junction of foot and stem. | |
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ: | Ερυθρόμορφη κύλιξ, με παράσταση αθλητή με αλτήρες. Αποτελείται από δώδεκα συνενούμενα τμήματα. Λείπουν θραύσματα από το χείλος και το σώμα του αγγείου. Αποκατεστημένη με γύψο. | |
