Description: | Jug with Cutaway Mouth. Fragments of handle, neck and walls missing; restored in plaster. Broad almost top-shaped body; low raised base, concave beneath. Ridge around shoulder at base of neck. Band handle from shoulder; on its outer face two broad vertical grooves; at the lower attachment a slight plastic protrusion from the central rib, and above this two circular depressions. Tall neck with plain flaring lip and cutaway mouth Pink clay; dull red glaze somewhat worn. LH III A(-B) | |
