Description: | Much of the lip missing, and both side handles, with small fragments from the wall. Tall ovoid body; false ring foot; short neck with flaring rim flattened on top. Rolled vertical handle, from middle of neck to shoulder curve; finger impression at bottom. Handmade of micaceous red to brown clay with remains of smoother surfacing, carrying considerable remains of a brown stain (from contact with iron?) both inside and outside neck, on handle and on walls. | |
