Description: | Mended from many pieces. Nearly half of area of rim and sides restored in plaster. Decoration as in P 2298. Red bands clearer on exterior. Two concentric circles in bottom. Excellent glazed. ADDENDA P 2298: The thin steep walls have a slight incurve at the lip. The ring foot spreads until it is almost flat. Sketchy rays above the foot. Inside of lip and space below handles unpainted. Bottom reserved, with three concentric circles in dilute wash enclosing a central dot. All reserved surfaces rubbed with pink. Two red bands on exterior below lip. | |
