Description: | About one-quarter of lid preserved; from a pyxis of type D. Lower half of an elaborate pot: ribbed kantharos or standed krater standing on a band of egg and dot. The ends of a taenia hang beside the pot. Glazed inside and out; the lightly grooved edge of the rim above reserved, and a deeper groove around the top of the vertical rim, this with traces of miltos. No relief contour. Letter incised on inside, before glazing added; probably a delta or angular rho: <graphic> | |
