Description: | A few wall fragments missing and restored. Plump pelike with lip rounded on top and flaring ring foot; handles show faint double ridge. Firm mottled glaze, red to black, outside except under foot, and to below lip inside. Decoration of purple bands: one around neck below lip; a second at line of upper handle attachment; a pair at lower handle attachment; a single band around lower wall. Glaze worn at inner edge of lip. | |
