Description: | Much of wall and rim missing from one side, including handle. Six joining fragments. Restored in plaster. Deep body, lip offset inside. Moulded foot; underneath five concentric bands, one wide and four narrow, and central dot. Stamped on floor, four palmettes within a ring of ovules. The glaze has fired a rich red both inside and out except for a small area on the rim. Cf. P 27392. | |
