Description: | Fragment of discus alone preserved. The discus has two Erotes. In high relief with a sort of palmette between them. Around the edge a raised herring bone pattern. A rim around the comparatively large filling hole. Above the palmette the edge of the shoulder is pointed and beside the right foot of the left Eros there is a knob projecting outside the normal edge. It does not seem likely that this lamp had a handle, as there is really no place for it. Clay: fine buff; pinkish brown glaze.
Context: | Thesmophorion, clearing north of terrace wall.
