Description: | Broken at neck; nose and chin missing; surface battered. Male head with short cut hair, short beard, high domed head, wrinkles across the forehead. Traces of mortar attached to hair and in one ear suggest that the head had been used in some wall earlier than that in which it was found, for the latter had no mortar. Pentelic marble, very crumbly.
