Description: | First interpretation: head of woman. Head of Apollo, at fairly large scale, tipped slightly to his right. Broken off at neck; chips missing. The hair is parted in the center and drawn over the brows to a low knot at the back; bound by a fillet. Two long curls escape at either side of the neck. Pupils indicated. Made hollow; no remains of color. Good work. Red clay with buff surface. Cf. Dimitrakopoulou (2024), no. A59, p. 175, fig. 11. | |
