Description: | On a oval base with projecting moulding top and bottom, Aphrodite seated on a rock, left; drapery over her knees, her head and upper body and head facing. To the right, standing on the rock, Eros, holding a mirror. The seated figure is framed by a shell-like niche finished with flowers around its top. Mended from many pieces; part of the base at the back, a large piece of the front, and chips, missing. Back plain, oval vent. Light buff clay with white on the front, and remains of color: red on the base, yellow on the rock, pink on the drapery. Copy of plastic vase. | |
