Description: | The fragment is mended from two pieces; it is missing below the waist, as are both arms. The back of the figure, partly broken away, is not modelled, but is glazed. A figure, wearing a wreath of vine leaves (?) over long hair. The shoulders show remnats of drapery. The face and hair suggests Dionysos; the breasts are those of a woman. Traces of black glaze on hair, back and drapery, and of white paint on face and undraped body. Clay fine, pinkish buff. From a plastic vase (?) | |
