APC Image: AK 1106Prehistoric household ware. Top Left: a lid with a handle extending across it. Other top row fragments: bases of open shallow bowls of varying side. Bases of such bowls are flat, their sides are fairly perpendicular. Some of the bowls are so carelessly made that they stand unevenly (right centre). Also, flat and rectangular legs of cooking pots, as well as legs that are round or tapering downwards are shown in this picture (bottom row). In every case they are broken off so far below the vase that no idea of the size or shape can be obtained. All the pieces are of very coarse fabric, undecorated, with rough surface. They vary greatly in size and thickness. There are also a number of legs of miniature size (last two in the bottom row). These tiny vases could not have served any useful purpose and in all probability were children's toys.
