Corinth Basket: NB977 B77 P167 Collection: | | Corinth | Type: | | Basket | Name: | | NB977 B77 P167 | Area: | | Panaghia north | Category: | | Basket/zembil | Notebook: | | 977 | Context: | | 77 | Page: | | 167 | Date: | | 2006/06/02 | Stratum: | | Fill. Soil is light/medium reddish brown sandy clay with 30% pebbles, 20% cobbles, weakly cemented. | Notes: | | B 77 is the excavation of a clay like patch of soil south of wall 215 and robbing trench 215R. We are unable to determine if it runs above or under a softer patch just to the west of it. I believe that it is above it and thus am digging it first. This layer, the patch next to it, and B 75 all seem to sit above a carbon-mottled layer. After digging this patch, it is still unclear what the relationship is between this basket and the patch to the west. See top plan pg. 165. | Context Pottery: | | Fineware. thornware beaker bs 1; Fineware. Preroman miniature vessel; Fineware. Preroman ca 40 | Pottery Summary: | | 57 frag(s) 0.14 kg.
