Corinth Basket: NB977 B77 P167
Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   NB977 B77 P167
Area:   Panaghia north
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   977
Context:   77
Page:   167
Date:   2006/06/02
Stratum:   Fill. Soil is light/medium reddish brown sandy clay with 30% pebbles, 20% cobbles, weakly cemented.
Notes:   B 77 is the excavation of a clay like patch of soil south of wall 215 and robbing trench 215R. We are unable to determine if it runs above or under a softer patch just to the west of it. I believe that it is above it and thus am digging it first. This layer, the patch next to it, and B 75 all seem to sit above a carbon-mottled layer. After digging this patch, it is still unclear what the relationship is between this basket and the patch to the west. See top plan pg. 165.
