Stratum:   Possibly foundation trench? Soil is medium brown soily clay with 30% uneven pebbles and rare cobbles, loose to compact.
Notes:   B 90 is a pocket of softer soil at the corner between walls 284 and 265 which may or not be associated with the construction of that corner in the walls. After an initial pass, the pocket appears to cut downward into the surrounding fill, and we make another pass to see if this continues . To the western end of the basket, the trench seems to go under a portion of pebblier soil lying where the construction of the waterpipe cut through wall 284, so we stop tis basket to take that portion out first. Found charcoal. See top plan pg. 183
