| Notes: | In the SE corner of the area the soil revealed by the cleaning was darker brown and more silty. It was considered to be a depression in the, possibly filled in by soil being washed in from the baulk to the E. When dug, it revealed the same material as the rest of the cleaning basket and was included with that material. To the south of the millstone some sherds of rooftile (Laconian) were removed and a few fragments of wall plaster (red and yellow). | |
