Stratum:   Floor surface between Walls 215 and 260. The stratum medium yellowish brown sandy clay with 35% pebbles and 20% cobbles, compact.
Notes:   Basket B 38 is the excavation of an area of a softer floor surface west of the two projecting stones. As we were excavating B 38, we came down upon some stones just west of the two protruding stones, which might form foundations for a wall. We stopped excavating when we had exposed the tops of the stones. We have determined that the E-W wall is Wall 292 and the N-S wall is Wall 293. Found glass. See pg. 77 and 78 for photos. See pg. 64 for top plan.
