| Stratum: | Wall foundations running N-S(Wall 293) between Walls 260 and 215 and E-W(Wall 292) just south of wall 215. Dark/medium yellowish brown sandy silt with 40% pebbles and 15% cobbles. Loose. | |
| Notes: | Basket 44 is the removal of the wall foundations running North-South (Walls 293) between Walls 260 and 215 and East-West (Wall 292) just south of Wall 215. During the course of removing the stones that make up the walls, we determined that they do in fact bond. Therefore we are taking both out as the same basket. We are sieving 100%. The walls are now Walls 292 (E-W) and Wall 293 (N-S). We stopped after we removed all of the large stones and the loose dirt between and underneath. It appears as though the worked slab continues west. See pg. 76 for top plan. | |
