Title:   Courtyard: SE floor surface
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1111
Context:   95
Date:   2016/06/10
Stratum:   10% tile; 20% stone: 10% medium pebbles, 10% coarse pebbles.
Description:   The soil color is dark reddish black. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   -95 is harder and more reddish than 83, 84, and 90.
-95 abuts 84 and 90, but it is unclear what the chronological relationship with these conexts is, but 95 is likely earlier than 84 and 90.
-Excavation of hard, reddish soil left elevated (from excavation of contexts 84 and 90 surrounding it) in NW corner of trench.
-This seems to be the floor level of the courtyard, which is unpreserved throughout most of trench, but seems to continue westwards into Rosana's trench. Here, in the SE section of the courtyard, it is only preserved in the NW corner of the trench, but it likely continues northwards.
-Not much pottery recovered from context and underneath, soil is darker, less red, and soft. This is likely fill for the surface level.
-95 seems to be the easiest context excavated in this trench; as no more surface seems to be preserved here, SE sections of courtyard closed.
-To the W., surface level preserved only in N. half of trench (SW corner of courtyard).
-wheel barrows from courtyard today: 10 from context 90, 7 from 94 and 8 from 95.
-Context made equal to structure 98 after more floor surface revealed in SW trench
