Notes:   Wall 1007 was first uncovered 9 April; circumstances of its discovery are found in the notes to deposit 1003. Wall 1007 does not appear in any drawings until Pink Team 1's final bottom plan, where it is represented with North and S measurements that were c. 30 cm further to the north than the measurements we took on 30 April. Apparently not enough was known about Wall 1007 at the time of its being assigned a structure number to make notes about it. A series of excavations in the area under the auspices of Pink Team 2 uncovered more of the wall: when contexts 1088, 1090, and 1092 were removed, more of the wall's height was revealed; the removal of context 1089 revealed Wall 1007's connection to the wall to the south, which has not yet been named. We had context 1097 removed because we thought it might be a foundation trench, but it turned out to be a cut with some other function, not yet fully understood; we have called this cut 1098.
The wall is composed mostly of roughly sqared, largish stones for the most part, with smaller stones inserted, as well as some tiles. There appear to be larger stones facing the West and East sides with small stones and other fill between.
