Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes: | While digging the context 1092, we came upon 2 possible bothroi, 1093 (cut 1094) and 1095. 1095 is slightly to the east of 1093/4 and much smaller. It looks like It may be a post hole. We dug it to find out its relationship with context 1092 and cut 1094. Inside were found 2 sherds of pre-Roman fineware. This cut is identified as cut 1096 (1095 is the fill for 1096). The soil at the bottom--not yet excavated--appears to contain tiles. This will be part of context 1099 into which 1093/4 and 1095/6 are cut.
