Notebook:   1107
Context:   1119
Page:   0
Date:   2013/05/14
Description:   The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is vertical sides and flat base. Truncation: original shape in S; truncated in north by earlier excavations.
Notes:   This cut was dug for the placement of tile drain 1026 (removed as contex 1118). The cut was lined with mortar (for the securing of the drain) and thus the outer extent is easily defined. It is a trough-like cut that ceases to exist in the northern extent. This was removed during the Robinson excavation and not well recorded.
