Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark brownish black. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes: | 424 is a pebble rich context S of Wall 366, W of wall 332 and N of wall 365. As Panos digs, he reveals a N-S return of wall 366. 12/6/2008: The 'return wall' actually seems to be part of the stone built drain (426) found further to the N under 411. These stones are perhaps covering slabs. At the bottom of 424, we have these covering slabes, more similar soil (black with pebbles), and in the NE, a lighter soil with more clay and no pebbles.
