Stratum:   B5111 contains ca. 5% of small pebbles.
Description:   Top slope of the context is uneven down to the N. Bottom slope of the context is uneven down to the NThe soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   B5111 is the cleaning of the upper course of the E end of wall 23 (NB228) as well as the N façade of this part of the wall. Debris had accumulated there during the past week of excavating. In the N façade the cleaning was necessary in order to reveal more of the layer of ashes that was also revealed by B5110 that goes underneath wall 23 (NB228) in a S direction.
