Deposit 5716 is a deposit of dumped fill in pit 5702 partially covering 5704 and underneath the ashy fill 5699. It has large inclusions and small patches of ash, but is not as soft as 5699 or 5704. It fills the western half of the pit all the way to the cut. It is removed in one pass.
