Description:   The context shape in plan is square. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is flat. Truncation: None.
Notes:   Cut 6000 is located in doorway of room north of courtyard of Byzantine house. This context and its associated deposit excavated at this point as part of program to remove several fills scattered in room to reveal floor surfaces.
Cut 6000 appears to be a cut for a robbing trench to remove what might have been a threshold block in this doorway. Dating this context will be important because it will provide information about construction history of room.
Cut 6000 cuts through several surfaces which may represent a combination of floors and fills.
