| Description: | The soil color is dark greenish yellow. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | |
| Notes: | We are excavating a lense of soil revealed by the removal of threshold 5919 and walls 10076 and 10077. after removing two deposits that seemed to be fill for those structures (6040 and 6051) we have come to a packed earth floor from a pre-existing structure, cut to the south by robbing trench 6048 to the E by pier cut 6066 and to the W by pier cut 6065. removal of floor 6062 revealed another packed earth floor (=deposit 6063). | |
