Description:   The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   Context 6792 is a cobble-laden fill located in the northern part of the room west of the courtyard of the Byzantine house. It was revealed by the removal of context 6785 and continues north under wall 5725. It is a shallow lens of what may be dumped fill overlaying some type of surface. The inclusions consist mainly of angular, tabular cobbles with a little tile and pottery intersperced. The soil is dark reddish brown clayey silt.
The removal of context 6792 revealed the rest of a surface of dark soil. The only odd part of this fill is how linear it is from E-W. Unfortunately, too little of 6792 is present in the room west of the courtyard for a proper interpretation. As with the previous conexts we decided to sieve to continue looking for coins and datable pottery.
