Description:   The context shape in plan is irregular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is flat. Truncation: by the pithos on the W, the bothros to the S/E, cuts 5140 and 5138 to the N, and cut 7062 to the N/E..
Notes:   Originally this context was thought to be a shallow fill layer, but excavation of this layer revealed that it was much deeper. The cut is located in the N of the ‘pithos’ room of Room F E-half. Its N boundary is formed by the foundation trench of wall 5450, W by the pithos, E by the wall 5347, cut 7050, and the bothros. It is of an irregular shape: the longest side runs parallel to wall 5450 and is truncated by the pithos and cuts 5140 and 5138. Excavation of this fill was paused when a continuation of the foundation trench was found; work switched to that trench and then continued on this context.
