| Notes: | Originally this context was thought to be a shallow fill layer, but excavation of this layer revealed that it was much deeper. The cut is located in the N of the ‘pithos’ room of Room F E-half. Its N boundary is formed by the foundation trench of wall 5450, W by the pithos, E by the wall 5347, cut 7050, and the bothros. It is of an irregular shape: the longest side runs parallel to wall 5450 and is truncated by the pithos and cuts 5140 and 5138. Excavation of this fill was paused when a continuation of the foundation trench was found; work switched to that trench and then continued on this context. | |
