Description:   The context shape in plan is irregular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are concave. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is sloping. Truncation: truncated redder soil to the N, which is unexcavated. Cut by the 1960's excavations.
Notes:   This is a cut for a rubble pit in the room NE of the courtyard. This is N of the 1960's excavations and truncated by them. It is east of an animal tunnel and south of wall 7040, west of wall 7254. It was filled with stone, rooftiles, and ceramic rubble, so it is likely dumped material from building debris.
