Notebook:   1106
Context:   809

Date:   2012/05/12
Description:   The context shape in plan is sub-rectangular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is vertical sides and flat base. Truncation: It has been truncated by the robbing trench 749..
Notes:   The context 809 was found when we were digging the soft black fill that overlay it, 798. 809 is to the north of the robbing trench 749 and seems to be the foundation of the wall 745, which is partially preserved. The edges of this cut are made of a reddish soil, which is visibile on the north section and at the bottom of the foundation trench. Here, the soil is mixed with big pieces of tile.
