Notes:   See 149 and 147 for additional information.
This is a linear cut that skirts the foundation course of the original Hellenistic NS wall (38). It widens around the sqaure intersection block between rooms, but maintains its width between 17-21 cm. It extends to the S, but the soil was left unexcavated. It may have been truncated by a possibly lower cut in the NW (174), which reduces the depth to 0.31 m.
